biography
Photography for me has been something that I have always found great joy in doing. From roadtrips across the country photographing my travels to hiking in the Olympic and Cascade mountains, I have always enjoyed being outdoors and photographing the world around me.
When I picked up my first camera at the age of 13, I was hooked from the start. From the magic in the darkroom to getting out and seeing the world through a lens, photography has become a way of life.
Within the main body of my personal work I try to photograph the natural beauty of the land that is still around us every day. So much of our world has been covered by buildings and parking lots that it is hard to find an untouched location almost anywhere you go.
